Shira Friedman is an intern at the Center for Communal Research. She assists with research on the Jewish day school system as well as a needs assessment focused on divorced women in the Orthodox community. Shira believes that this research plays an important role in helping the Jewish community to improve by assessing the success of different organizations.
Shira is currently an undergraduate student at Lander College for Women, where she is studying psychology. In addition, Shira teaches at Bruriah High School for Girls and works in the learning lab where she helps students to be as successful as they can be.
Shira loves working with children, baking, and learning new things.
