Benjamin Freund is an intern at the OU’s Center for Communal Research. Benjamin is working on data-based projects and analyses within the OU that will help deliver insights into the behaviors of Orthodox Jews across North America.
Benjamin graduated high school from St. Louis Park Senior High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, which is his hometown. After high school, he decided to take a gap year in Yavneh, Israel to learn at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh. Upon his return to the United States, Benjamin settled in New York to attend Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business. He recently graduated from YU, receiving a Bachelor of Science in business intelligence and marketing analytics, an Associate of Arts in Judaic studies, and minoring in both marketing and psychology.
In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys reading books, playing pickup sports, and travelling. He also loves meeting new people and having new experiences.
