Amanda Levy, LCSW, has worked with children and families for more than 30 years. She is currently the Director of Clinical Services for Yachad. In this position, she coordinates the internship program as well as supervises many of the interns in our office. She responds to the clinical needs of the agency when there are emergent needs and situations as well as consults with the staff on more general behavioral and mental health issues. This could be in the form of creating behavioral plans, consulting with other professionals as well as direct work with families. Collaborating with other staff and departments is a special focus of her work. Amanda has a particular interest in addressing the typical development of our individuals. She continues to educate, support, and encourage the individuals we work with, and their families to further expand and supports the development of even more meaningful lives. Amanda brings a long history of experience coordinating services for families caring for children with developmental disabilities and mental illness. She also has a private practice serving families, couples, individual adults and children. Amanda brings her warmth, enthusiasm, and creative “positive spin” into her work and after all these years, still loves what she does.
